Yale Meat Club

hmm...I never asked...I always said "gross gross gross" and ran away...I'll have to find that out. Maybe the meat inside is actually tender? It has nothing to do with the quills...

hmmmmm, quite interesting

my aunt ate an emu burger once...

pyjamas, you're right...it all does taste like chicken only not as stringy so it's actually better!

Chicken is stringy?
I love chicken most out of all meats :p

yeah...if you just bake it, you can peel it like string cheese

oh like when it gets dry and stuff...but add barbeque sauce and it's delicious!

Looks like you two lovely females would be fine additions to the Meat Club =)

lol seriously! here we are having a very sophisticated discussion about meat. who knew?

noo noo nooo you guys! do you know how many veggie burgers I will have to eat just to balance out the meat club's intake? arrrgh do you WANT to make me fat?

Sir, are you a girl?

I wonder how active the Yale PETA chapter is.

How is killing a lot of innocent vegetables to "balance out" meat intake good?

I should start a Yale PUTA (People for the Unethical Treatment of Animals).

EDIT: I didn't intentionally mean the acronym to be a spanish curse word ;)

"Come to our leather and fur extravaganza! Steak grill to follow."

That's awful!! Loving meat is one thing, but honoring unethical treatmeat of animals is quite another. shakes finger shame on you!

btw, I do love veggie burgers too, so it's not really even partiality towards meat...

yeah but no veggie can top the smell of a sizzling cowburger

lol
it's weird how "cowburger" has such a different effect on me than "beef burger"
I guess that was the ploy of whoever invented "beef" "pork" "veal" "bacon" etc. so we don't feel like we're eating the same animals as those cute ones pictures in coloring books and that we sang about in Old McDonald...gasp McDonald's...how come I never connected the two...

yeah, it's depressing when you place a face on the pattie on your plate.

:(
:(
that is just so sad!
but I love my meat too much to give it up!
What to do?
