YALE RD decision release date..

And College confidential isn't helping....I'm a ccholic!

that and i'm strung out on caffeine.

I joined CC about 3 weeks ago and my post count is nearing 500. I am a serious addict. I sit on the computer after lunch to check the posts, it is really sad.

its not that sad, I am a ccholic too but I guess the closer I get to decision time the more I post

Yeah, I see you on a lot of similar boards to me. Similar hours as well. :) It's all good. We are working our fingers for those long essays that we might have to write in college.

ditto that

Haha I only joined a week ago but everyday I keep on posting more and more and more. Soon I'll be up to like 100 a day!

thats impressive but just wait until u see zantedeschia she has 5000+ posts

wow...thats an awful lot of posts...not sure I can top that! :)

not many people can, the closest runner up has around 3000 posts
anyone feel free to correct me on that

sounds about right to me.

I wonder if accepted people will get a bulldog singing on the page that loads on the website

I dunno,I'm feeling very highly cautiously optimistic that I might get in because my interviewer and I hit it off really well and I got lots of compliments and other stuff. It was my final interview and was an amazing experience

darn, I hate it when I actually think I have a chance because that just raises my hopes and then Ill be crestfallen when I get the thin letter

the only other person to apply to yale from my school was this uber smart asian girl and she applied ea. my hs sends tens of kids to harvard, Princeton, Stanford and other elites and ivies each year but the only person to get accepted to yale was from 14 years ago!

heh....my school has sent a grand total of....ummm.....one......to the Ivy League

.........Cornell class of 74 lol

I'm sure I'll keep the tradition alive :-/

Yeah Yale has a really low acceptance rate at my school too...like last year 17 got into Stanford(granted the fact that my hs is about 5 minutes away and we have a lot of legacies/connections might have something to do with it) and this year 4 people are already into Princeton, but we only manage to get 1, or on a good year 2 people into Yale every year....I know the high school next door to mine got their first person EA into Yale for the first time in about 20 or so years!!

My school hasn't sent anyone to the Ivy league in about 15 years...

my school, being the biggest and best ap (most % of 3+) in Canada, has never sent a single soul to princeton and sends about 1 kid to top ivy each decade...

Same with my school. Harvard and basically all other top tier universities let in loads of kids, comparatively a year. Yale however is MUCH harder to get into.

hahahah. MzLover 3, I literally burst out laughing when i finally scrolled down far enough to see cornell class of 74. that's hilarious.

My school's about the same; according to my counselor we've apparently never sent anyone to an ivy league, granted we're a small school thats only been around since the 70's and i dont even know how many/if any have tried to go ivy

Someone from my school going to the Ivy League? Now THAT's a joke. Who knows, maybe I'll start a new tradition!

LOL....its funny cuz id be the first to go Ivy if i got in at my school....but i have started a trend becuz people i know want to apply to Pton and Havard next year.
