Yale SCEA, Am I shooting way too high?

There's a recent article on why many Pre-Meds are deciding to apply to Dental School instead. Try to Google it because it is very interesting. UF had around 1800 applications for 80 spots.

J'adoube- thanks! actually my problem isnt figuring out why I want to go to dentistry. I like the job security, timing flexibility (can still have a family), focus on chem/bio other than medicine (I know I don't want to be a physician), the doctor patient relationships that come from having long-term patients who don't only come to you when having a problem, and, although this may sound silly or arrogant, the respect (I come from a family of doctors, I can't go off and become a painter.) My problem is that my goals may not make me seem like "an intellectual". I don't think schools will see dentistry as a bad pursuit- I don't see how a grounded sense of reality disqualifies you from the league of intellectuals. & I personally think my reasoning is sound. but I don't know what yale will think? either way, I'm not going to lie about my goal in order to get in, so I guess it doesn't matter. I'll just apply, tell the truth, and see what happens.
