Hello CC! I would greatly appreciate anyone chancing me for Yale SCEA :)

regional TOC-bid tournaments. Practice 3-4 hours a week with 11-12
tournaments a year.
•Youth in Government – 4 years. Won Outstanding Statesman as a
freshman legislator, went on to win campaigns for Lieutenant Governor
Junior year and Youth Governor Senior year; Youth Governor is the
highest possible leadership position in YIG. Selected to nationwide
conference 2 consecutive years, and attended national Youth
Governor’s Conference.
•Soccer – 11 years recreational league, 2 years for school (and
planning to play this year). Team captain multiple years in rec league,
most improved player sophomore year for school.
•Community Service –150-200 service hours over a year (Began
recording in Fall of 11th grade). Specific projects include a retirement
home, a research lab, and lots of tutoring.
•Music – Violin for 10 years. 7 years in various local youth orchestras.
Currently in the highest level of local orchestra, 3 hour weekly
rehearsals, performed at Carnegie Hall. Highest Chair-1st stand 2nd
violin. Also guitar for 5 years, although that's more of a hobby,
probably will write a song for reflections or something.

Work Experience

3-4 hours a week currently.
•Secretary for Dad’s business. I frequently help him respond to emails and write documents.

Honors and Awards:
•National Merit Semi-Finalist (Finalist pending, but with a 234 PSAT I'm
pretty much going to get that)
•All state Math Team – Selected to a team of 30 students to represent
South Carolina at the ARML (American Regions Mathematics League)
math competition.
•AIME Qualifier – Scored high enough on AMC to qualify for AIME.
•President’s Volunteer Service Award – Issued for high amount of
volunteer service over 1 year period.
•NFL Academic All-American – Issued for large amount of NFL points
with good grades.
•SC Chamber of Commerce Jay Rickman Leadership Award – SC Business
Week, CEO of 2nd place company.
•Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership State Delegate – School representative
at HOBY Leadership conference.

In summary, I'd say my hands down most important activity is Youth In Government just because of how much I've grown because of the program - it'll probably be the subject of my CA essay.

Speech and Debate is very high up there too, but my school has a local focus and so we don't attend many large, national tournaments.

With the math-related EC's, I realize they aren't amazing, but there was no existing framework at my school for math competitions (or even the AMC), so I started it Junior Year when I helped found our Math honors Society. My rec letters will probably address these points about Speech and Debate and Math Honors.

Anyways, Thanks for reading!
