Hey guys!! Another Yale SCEA applicant here, can’t wait for decisions tomorrow, although I’m 99% expecting deferral/rejection
Can anyone offer some insight about who actually gets into Yale? I really don’t want to believe that I have to be some international science Olympiad or professional athlete to get in
If I get in, I will livestream myself eating a sock.
If I get in, I’ll cry. If I don’t get in, I’ll cry.
Hey Yalies!
Good luck with tomorrow. Remember that no matter what the outcome, you are all amazing for even being able to apply to a school the caliber of Yale. The decision you receive tomorrow says nothing about your self worth, nor your academic capabilities. If you are rejected, you will move forward- do so with your head held high. If you are accepted, congratulations, the committee saw something in you that piqued their interest and you should be proud as well. If you are deferred, move on as well- you don’t want to hold on to the idea of Yale, the chance is honestly so minimal it’s not worth it to fuss over. Once again, I wish you all the best of luck.
