@T26E4 @colleges321 I’m the mom, and I’m recording to text to the family who are spread out over the country in case the news is good. We’ve had a hella bad couple of years and could use some positivity. My daughter can decide after if she wants to share it on YouTube; she also watched a lot of those reaction videos to psych herself up and think yes, it could be her. We will not be posting it on Facebook, though, and neither would the rest of the family.

Decided to wait until Friday after school to open so I won’t be a complete and utter mess at school. Like I’ll honestly burst into tears sporadically if I get deferred/rejected. It’ll be really hard to wait though after seeing all of you guys get results back!

you know how when youre nervous for something you have the need to pee. i am in a constant state of needing to pee. and its so funny my mom has not even mentioned yale or college once in the past two weeks bc she told me to stay off this website and that i need to not stress and i was so sure she was chill about my largely possible rejection but then i walked up behind her today while she was on her laptop and what do i see on the screen BUT YALE COLLEGE CONFIDENTIAL THREADS #caught #thedeception #hotdamn

I’m one of the few people that have built up their self-confidence inside and actually believe that I have a shot at getting in! I am not one of those to say, “I know I’m not getting in!” Or “I’m going to get rejected FOR SURE.”
This is a blessing AND a curse because it brings your hope up and I’ve prepared myself for getting rejected, but it’s still going to be so hard to get that “We regret to inform you.” email:/ I’m just hoping for the best at this point and I can’t wait to finally release all this tension and stress that has been building up inside of me for the past 2 years :)) GOOD LUCK to EVERYONE today!!!
