Yale SCEA Class of 2021 Discussion Thread

I haven’t posted in quite awhile but I’m starting to get really nervous about tomorrow. @crowningflowers I think you were correct when you said the portal will show an “update to the application.” That’s how it was for Dartmouth and I suspect Yale will have a similar feature.

Does anyone know if it would be similar to Harvard’s admissions where they do not all release at once. That would stress me out frfr.

All night studying calc, work, then yale decisions… its gonna be a long day

I can’t sleeep

has the link worked for anyone??? i keep trying even though i know its hopeless

@mdchang99 same, I have my calc BC exam tomorrow and I’m dying

I’m starting to feel nervous already…I work until 3 PM EST but I don’t know how I’ll pass the last two hours T.T

I already have a rejection song prepared…Tears by Clean Bandit
“Tears on the ground, tears on my pillow”
Plus it does have the lyric “I’ll get over you”
I highly recommend it as a rejection song to everyone lol

The lyrics : http://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/cleanbandit/tears.html

Actually a really good song lmaooo @yalehopeful017

RIGHT @coolcheesebagel and it’s the perfect mix of feeling sorry for yourself and getting over a rejection

@yalehopeful017 omg I used to be so obsessed with that song! It’s definitely perfect for the occasion.

@NayaTheVA Thx for the heads up on Nightvale! That might distract me for a few minutes

Around 16 more hours until I open my rejection letter

16 HOURS UNTIL OUR DEFERRAL NOTICES GUYS WOO HOO

@berkdork Glad you think so! Use it well

LOL guys we definitely have one of the longest threads of any early school

Stanford has 118 pages though, can we top it? Maybe, but we have less kids applying in general

I love that over half of the pages have been in the last week, and this thread started in freaking April :))

@mdchang99 @margaret1332 same ive got so much to study for tomorrow still. at least its a nice distraction from results being released tomorrow and we can sleep immediately after decisions. sleeping helps to get over sad feelings
