Yale SCEA Class of 2021 Discussion Thread

Deferred! About as good as I had hoped for. Not a flat out rejection, so I might still have a shot.

Rejected! Congrats to all

Lol got in from FL, post stats later

deferred :frowning: :frowning: :frowning: :frowning: :frowning: :frowning:

Deferred. :frowning:

Guys, does anybody know somethings about statistics and acceptance rate? I know that Yale Daily News usually write an article about these things.

Accepted!!!

My daughter was accepted from Southern California

Accepted!!!

Deferred. Deflated, but not defeated!

Deferred. Their loss

@rebecca12345 noooooo :((

Accepted!!! So excited to be a Yalie!!!

Deferred. Time to destress with food and start writing more apps.

Congrats to everybody who got in!! And to those who got deferred, if Yale is still your top choice, keep working, send in extra stuff, make them not be able to resist you, but don’t inundate them with things. To those who got rejected, this isn’t the end. The fact that you were able to reasonably apply to a university like Yale means that you have the chops to do great things, big or small. Keep your head up and know that a rejection doesn’t mean there’s something wrong with you. The world is still yours.

really pissed off at my deferral, but hungry to get in come April!

@TikopiaRock28 Exactly how I feel!

Deferred :frowning: Congrats to everyone who got in!!! Definitely hope that you guys choose to go to Yale bc it’s such an amazing school! Fingers-crossed for April :slight_smile:

Deferred… expected

S was deferred.

Congratulations to those with acceptances and commiserations to those that were denied…you had the heart, the guts, and the organizing ability to apply early, so I’m sure you’ll do well wherever you land. This is also another chance for deferred students to improve their applications and widen the search, so don’t lose heart.

Good luck everyone!
