Hey! I have been trying to decide between Harvard and Yale, and I was wondering if anyone had any perspective on which school had a stronger biomedical engineering program. If so, can you point me to some resources that can help me investigate? I appreciate the support!!
Neither of these schools is particularly well known for biomedical engineering. Of course, they’re both incredible schools; huge congrats on some great choices! Both of their biomed programs are going to be on the smaller side. If I were in your position, I would choose Harvard. They have a marginally better engineering program overall and biotech is big in the Boston area right now.
Thank you so much! Yeah, I’m also not sure if biomedical engineering is what I want to study. Therefore, I didn’t want to attend schools that were super specific only to engineering. I like that both schools have the liberal arts element so I can experience more areas of study as well. I guess I should make up my mind after visiting…
Yes, a visit is a good idea. I don’t know much about Yale or it’s surrounding area, but I live near Harvard, and Harvard Square is one of my favorite places to be in the city. Good luck!
