My DS is fortunately accepted by few schools we had only dreamed of. We are now have a touch decision to make. He was thinking of Econ in Chicago. Now, comes all those dream school. We visited those schools before and have some knowledge from visit or book. But, we really appreciate if experts here can share insight to help us make a decision.

WOW! Congratulations! Stanford offers big time school sports if that is important! It’s one of the few – if not only – highly selective schools that provides both D1 winning sports and high academics. Palo Alto is a darling town; more money in Silicon Valley than we can imagine! It’s a vibrant, almost surreal place.

Weather and sports? Stanford. Also not perceived to be that hard a place once you get in. Hard work, math-y and intellectual? Chicago. Beauty and many options of what to study? Princeton. There must be something nice to say about Yale…

You’ll have to tell us more if you’d like more specific advice. Yale is terrific, and (just as an example) beats Princeton hands down in terms of undergraduate living because of the residential college system–at least, in my opinion. What are the cost differences for you? Where do you live?

We’d need more information about her interests to be able to answer that ?.
