Yale vs. Stanford vs. Columbia vs. UPenn

OP, you can’t go wrong with any of these schools. They are all fantastic. You really need to ask yourself a series of questions. For example, which coast do you want to be on? Flying across country to college is a hassle. How much does weather matter to you? How much does access to a city matter to you? Are there specifics of the academic programs that matter to you?

Seems everyone has weeded out Penn so it comes down to Columbia, Stanford and Yale. So visit the other schools or post questions to current students in the forums for those colleges. But ever think of weeding it down to two and doing one for undergrad and one for grad?

I’m biased, because I went to Stanford as an undergrad and Yale for Med School, and the 4 years at Stanford were the best 4 years of my life. In the end, I would not fret over majors or where each school is ranked. All 4 schools will prepare you well for the future. Visit each school and spend as much time on each campus as you can. Go to the school that will challenge you to become the best you can be in your personal and academic life. College is the only time you can spread your intellectual wings and investigate topics far from your future career. You won’t have that freedom in professional or grad school.
