I don’t think so, just because they are probably receiving numerous frantic emails (see: their automated email). And if they made a mistake, they will HAVE to extend it by at least a day for those who couldn’t submit because they closed the application portal BEFORE the application deadline.
@drakonus I don’t think the recommendation letters will be affected since they can submit them separately anyways / are in a separate Word doc.
I’d be more worried about the essay part, especially if you didn’t upload it in a Word document. I copied and pasted mine into the box, and it did save it once I clicked onto a different part of the portal and it then said it was “Saved/Submitted” (can’t remember which), but if you were on the page and in the middle of working on it, I’m not sure it would have been saved
UPDATE: My other teacher just submitted my rec letter. Even if the application portal is still closed (?). I think this confirms that the rec letters won’t be affected.
Yep, same problem as all of you guys. Not worrying though because it was clearly their fault so they must allow us (the procrastinators) some extra time
@glassflowers I just got my sat 2 score and I want to submit it but I just realized the score report comes out on Feb 16. For score report do you think we can upload a doc saying that it hasn’t come out yet?
@gdpast323 I attached a screenshot of my scores, and then added a note saying that the score report won’t come out until the 16th; I think that’ll be okay
