<p>I would like some help reducing wordiness and to hear your thoughts about my ECs and academics thus far. </p>

<p>I'm a Rising sophomore and here's what I have From Freshman year:</p>

<p>Leadership
1. Advisor to the Board of Non-Profit (Difference between or and er?)

1. Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do
2. Varsity Golf </p>

<p>Awards
1. 1st Place County Science Fair: Technology
2. Science Olympiad: 3rd Place High School Forensics-Summer, 3rd place Varsity Astronomy-Regional
3. Student of the Month: March 2008</p>

<p>Volunteering
School: Clerical volunteering, Installed Wireless Cards, Repair of Laptops, Created and distributed handout on proper laptop use
Community: Volunteer with Mayor’s Youth Council (30 Hours), Volunteering with County Library (40 hours by end of summer); Intern with Community Affairs Department of City (50 hours by end of summer) </p>

Yale (Maybe) although I think that would make it too cliche</p>

<p>i just have to say.. i think its REALLY REALLY FUNNY how you are a legacy from both UNC and duke. that's probably so uncommon lollol</p>

<p>Thats impressive, if you keep that up through senior year you are competitive for all of those, UNC and Duke being near locks, the other 4, well those are reaches for everyone but you certainly have a good shot.</p>

<p>I need something like "The house/family divided" sticker. :) My parents aren't really in to sports so much though because they each attended a good number of colleges that weren't known for sports.</p>
