Yearbook or AP Psychology

I am entering my senior year and am currently scheduled for yearbook which is a class offered in which we work to create the yearbook. I took the class last year and really enjoyed it, plus it is an English course, which is what I will be majoring in. I am considering either double majoring or minoring in psychology and am trying to decide whether I should take yearbook or swap it out for ap psychology. I took honors psychology and loved it, and I have only taken three ap courses in high school. Would it be smart to add on another ap course, or show that I am involved by working on the yearbook? Which would make my application to colleges better?

I don’t know. I was able to take yearbook and ap psychology. I definitely understand your dilemma. If you take ap psychology, there is a potential for college credit. However, you will make so many great memories in your senior year of yearbook. I would go with yearbook.

Do what you want to do - don’t ever do anything to impress colleges; it doesn’t work. If you want to, you can self-study AP Psych so that you can college credit, but you want actually learn the material in depth.
