Yearbook quotes

Okay, so I need to start coming up with quotes/lyrics to put on my senior page. I don't want anything cliche or anything that every other person will have on their page. Nothing exceedingly philosophical.

Any ideas? I just need cute, upbeat, non-overused, quotes or lyrics. They can be about friends, family, growing up, motivational, w/e

Examples of what I DON'T want: "Live as if you were going to die tomorrow...."
"Friends are like stars/rainbows/angels/etc...."
"Live moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around...."

Examples of what I DO like: "We came expecting, left remembering. We came strangers, left friends. We came with nothing and left with everything."
"We do not remember days; we remember moments." ~Cesare Pavese, The Burning Brand

Thanks! (yeah I know, I'm kind of picky lol)

"I always knew that i would look back on my tears and laugh but i never thought id look back on my laughter and cry."

"Dream no small dreams for they have no power to move the hearts of men."

Hows that?

^ Mallomar, lammmeee ;). here we go:

"I came to party, to laugh very hearty, was often tardy, but met an awesome guy named Marty."

Do you get a whole page ("to put on my senior page") all to yourself? Because if so, I could go on...

Yeah, we get a whole page... haha but I go to an all-girls school so the closest thing I've met to a guy named Marty is our (supposedly) female gym teacher with a last name that could give her that nickname

"Love endures by a bond which men, being scoundrels, may break whenever it serves their advantage to do so; but fear is supported by the dread of pain, which is ever present."
^ Love that one.

Or my own: "I prefer to think about situations and emotional matters in terms of chemistry because then everything becomes biological and less on the emotional level."

hahaa, nice. Gym teachers are often.. of questionable gender.

I think I might quote George Bush for my senior quote...

On my senior page, I put all these funny/memorable quotes from classmates and teachers and friends on it. I quoted a couple song lyrics and then wrote a thank-you to people.

"I'm sick of following my dreams. I'm just going to ask them where they're going and hook up with them later." - Mitch Hedberg

"veni vidi vici"
I came, I saw, I conquered

That is p-i-m-p

I'd ask for an empty sheet and put something humorous like, - Your advertising could be here!

hahaha thatd be hilarious.. especially at a school like mine.

except we have to have our senior portrait on it. and theyd never allow it.

"Sometimes, life hands you lemons..."

"so EAT YOUR D*MN LEMONS!!"

that was a yearbook favorite one year.

I second "Vendi, Vidi, Vici."

Simple, frank, and powerful.

yeah that wouldn't really fly lol i think that'd seem kind of arrogant (and other people would too). and i have to fill a whole page.

How about an inspirational poem? :p

haha i don't really like poems for the most part. plus then i'd have to just put my pictures around it randomly instead of putting nice quotes with different pics

"I love lamp." - Brick Tamland

^ Brilliant.

Simple. "Carpe Diem."

Or something like
"What we do in life, echoes in eternity" from Gladiator
^Love that quote. And love gladiator.

orr
"being grown up isnt half as fun as growing up.. these were the best days of our lives."

MY ALL-TIME FAVORITE..

"AND IN THE END, ITS NOT THE YEARS IN YOUR LIFE THAT COUNT... BUT THE LIFE IN YOUR YEARS."
Abraham Lincoln.

Can you put pictures on your page?

A lot of guys wrote references to fun memories had over the years, certain classes, inside jokes between friends, and quotes from others like I mentioned before.

Man, I just looked through our pages and felt a wave of nostalgia reading all the quotes and memories.
