Ok, so i've gotten back all my college choices and i want to know your guys's opinions.

Out of the colleges i've gotten into, I'm seriously considering:
-Occidental College
-UC Davis

Other ones that i got into, but am not really enthusiastic about:
-UC Irvine (too close to home)
-George Washington (too expensive)
-Cal Poly SLO (why go to SLO when i have Davis or Oxy to go to?)
-UCSC (i would consider it since i got chancellor's and money from them, but it's UCSC, i feel like it wouldn't be nearly as great of a college experience than the other schools i got in.)

BTW, i'm a poli sci major, and i plan on going to law school. If i go to Oxy, i would try to do there 3/2 BA/JD program with Columbia so i save some money and time.

I know they're two VERY different schools in almost every way and i think thats why i'm getting so confused in my decision.

I would say Oxy, unless costs are a huge concern, as law school is exceptionally expensive and I would not take on much undergrad debt if you plan on going that route. Oxy isn't super strong in the sciences, but that isn't a concern for a poli sci major.

Oh, and just FYI, that 3/3 Columbia program (3/2 is engineering) is exceptionally selective and not unique to Oxy, as many top LACs are involved. Only one or two students from each LAC are selected per year; it is certainly a neat option, but I wouldn't count it as a major draw.

I would say without any doubt, GWU.
I know its expensive but there are always loans and financial aid. Its a great school, loads of school spirit (out of all the schools, GWU is prob the most), amazing location (the best out of ur list), great career opportunities and again, amazing academics.

I know cost is an issue. I got into University of Miami, and at first I was gonna go to Ohio State but then with financial aid and other financing options, UMiami was actually so much more affordable. Mayby GWU gives u a good package. If u can finance it in any way, go to GWU, u will definately not regret it.
If u cannot finance it, then id say UC Davis.

GWU gave me no aid, and honestly, coming out of school with more than $100,000 of debt won't be fun, (one years estimated cost of attendance is more than $53,000).

But why Davis over Oxy, any reason? I know why i like the schools, but why do you guys say what you say?

UC Davis has tons of schools spirit, and their upcoming div I football team will probably contribute to that. Though it's just stuff I heard from friends. Plus it's out in the middle of nowhere.
Oxy is nestled in/near LA. I visited once. It's like on a steep hill kind of. I got the impression there that it was a very intimated community and everyone knew everyone else's business.

For your major, if the cost isn't that much of a burden, I would choose Oxy.
