Yes i know it's been asked over and over

...but is the ACT truly easier to get a higher score on than the SAT? have there been any instances were the aforementioned situation has occured?

It depends on the person...the ACT has a science section which I do really well on, whereas others may not do so well. I also like the fact that you don't get marked off for getting questions wrong. I scored higher on the ACT than I did on the SAT.

YOU DON'T GET MARKED OFF??
Oh....my...god
why in the WORLD did i take the SATs??

You can take both...colleges will accept the better of the two.

One benefit of taking the ACT over the SAT is that when you send your scores to colleges, they only see the score from the one date that you choose to send them, rather than seeing all the SAT I scores you've ever taken. Typically, if you do well in school, you should do well on the ACT. You have nothing to lose by taking it at least once and figuring out which test is better geared to your mind.

So....nothing gets marked off, generally easier, AND univs. only see the best of them all???

There has to be a catch....do West Coast Colleges accept them?

refer to your college Web site.
