<p>i don't know, i applied to the school of art and I got an official looking letter from a professor there. I don't know whether it was on his own initiative or whether they've done this with a bunch of students. They said that I was one of the best applications to the art school they had received? Whatever that means... It's kinda hard to judge scale off these things. I don't know why they notified me early, but it's sure nice to hear.</p>

<p>I think the rest of decision letters will be mailed sometime next week, so evrybody will find out their fate soon.</p>

<p>last year they were mailed on March, 17th and were avaiable online on the same day</p>
<p>That is so soon. I don't think I will start checking yet, but will just read CC and someone will check that day and tell all of us.</p>
<p>Congrats! But, and I dont want to sound mean or evil-spirited, but don't get your hopes up too high. If you look on the recruiting thread in the Parent's Forum, there are a lot of posts about kids who have gotten letters from teachers anc coaches guaranteeing acceptance but then the kids didnt get it. i'm sure you did though, and that's great! hope to see you in the fall.</p>
<p>well i dont thikn that that the art department itself would mail out a letter saying i got accepted and to book my flights from this date to this date, and that i iwll be receiving the binder in a week or two....but hey whatever, you odnt know til you know for sure right? anyway</p>
