Yet another Chances request...

<p>I apologize for adding yet another thread to the myriad of Chances threads, but I just couldn't resist.</p>

<p>I already applied to Yale EA, so nothing can be added or changed; still, I just wanted to get some feedback about my chances, so...</p>

<p>Indian Male in Pennsylvania (I know, not going to help)
Prospective Biological Sciences/Cognitive Science major</p>

<p>Academics:
4.0 GPA
Have taken the most challenging courses available to me
Taking Calculus III at a local college (dual enrollment)
SAT: CR: 710, M: 780, W: 800
SAT IIs: M1: 760, M2: 800
AP US History: 4, AP Stats: 5, AP Calc BC: 5
Rank: 4/490
National Merit Semifinalist</p>

<p>ExtraCurricular Stuff:
School Drama Club all 4 years: Stage Crew Mgr (11-12), Lighting Technician (9-12), Chief Lighting Designer (11-12)
French Club: all 4 years, Publicity Mgr (9-10), Pres. (11-12)
School Paper: all 4 years, Staff Columnist (11-12)
Scholastic Scrimmage JV Team (10-12)
Volunteer at local hospital
Work at local supermarket</p>

<p>I also have some essays which I'm pretty proud of, so those should help me a bit.</p>

<p>Great academics, nothing spectacular in EC's however. At least you worked somewhere too. EC will hurt you, academics will help. I would give you a 10-20 percent shot (same pretty much every candidate like you has unless they have a strong hook etc)</p>

<p>I think a lot of candidates will just have the same great academics like yours. So the essays and teachers' reccomendation should mean a lot. Good Luck!!</p>

<p>The SAT IIs are both concentrated in math... Based on everything I can see you're very talented in math. I think the Drama Club will show something unique about you. Good luck!</p>
