Yet another SAT ii?

Hi all,
This is my first time starting a thread on CC, so please be kind!

I'm an Asian female junior at an international school, who aims to apply to the ivies and other rather selective. I have a 2380 sat 1, and have taken three sat iis: us history (770) , math ii (790), and chinese (800-- i'm not chinese).

However, having lived in china for most o my life, i dont feel that my chinese score says anything about me. I'm hoping to study intl relations, btw. I have a 3.99 with that one A- in Freshman year.

Should i take another sat ii literature, which will then be my fourth subject test? Is that going overboard, considering that i'm asian and people have a negative preconception about test-taking asian "robots"? I'm really worried! Please help with any advice you can give me.

Thanks!

I would not take another one. Spend your time on some activity that gives your life more dimensions than just high test scores.

I think it is taking overboard. Might want to attend Tufts, Georgetown or William and Mary.

If you can afford them as a safety, U Toronto or McGill.

Thanks for all your valuable advice!

3 is fine focus on other aspects of your application

Unless you are choosing science or engineering as major and you will need a science subject test, you are pretty much set. But if you have nothing else to do (since you have already got 2380 in SAT), it would not hurt by taking another subject test if you don’t need much time to prepare for it (e.g. any AP class you are taking).

I’m planning to major in things like int’l relations, so im definitely not a science person! : )

gosh the sats sure are pains in the butt, aren’t they?

honestly you have a nice shot, those SAT scores really help, and so does that GPA. great ec’s and an essay and you’re as good as in. take another sat II if you have extra time on your hands

Thanks! I tend to be kind of a worry wart…
