Haha I did this for Yale and Princeton too.

Ok I'm a female Malaysian and I'm doing the IB right now and I'm predicted 43 points.
I'm predicted a 7 for HL Maths and HL Economics and a 6/7 for HL English.
And my SL subjects are fine. I'm just really really worried about my SAT scores.

For my SAT II's, I got 650 for Bio M and 710 for Math I. I know thats pretty weak compared to the others that I've seen but I'm planning to retake these plus do the Mandarin SAT II coz I heard its a piece of cake.

I'm taking the SAT I's in Dec, late - I know but there was a bit of indecision with applying to the states! My extracurriculars are brill and I'm not worried about my teacher recs. Essays should be good too! Just worried about my SAT results :/

Oh yeah and i should probably take the SAT II again in January right? Just in case and to try and get better scores?

Any input would be great :) Thanks!

Reportedly, the Chinese SATII for native speakers is pretty much the equivalent of “the cat sat on the mat” for native English speakers, since it was designed to test the knowledge of kids who started Chinese in high school. Your problem is, schools KNOW this. I very much doubt that a high score on that test is going to impress anyone on a D admissions committee. They aren’t going to be just plugging scores into some kind of formula.

I think you’d be better off selecting another subject that you are currently studying, getting the College Board book, and prepping for that.

What is the primary language of instruction at your school? I don’t know D’s policy, but you may need to take the TOEFL if it isn’t English. I suggest that you check it out on the web site or email the admissions office.

oh yeahhh thanks for the reply! I’ve already checked about the possible TOEFL requirement and I dont need it. I’ve been in a british international school all my life and english is my first language so I dont think I need it. I took it just in case anyway, coz the other unis I’m applying to seemed a bit ambiguous about it.

And about the Mandarin SAT II, yeahh so I’ll just work on the ones I have now and retake those, coz I couldve definitely done alot better :/
