Well I am hoping somebody could help me with this.

I heard it is the book used at UCSD for Japanese (makes sense since it was created by a UCSD prof.), and I was wondering what level it is used at.

Im in high school, and I'm currently using this book for school (it is the second one, not the first one) and I am guessing UCSD uses it in either Intermediate or advanced japanese, and I'de really like to know which one.

Thanks

go check for books on tritonlink's schedule of classes

or email the dept

the second one starts to be used in the third quarter of japanese...or the end of the first year...if youre also wondering what japanese you would take at ucsd, theres placement tests that you take once youre on campus that will tell you what level youll be placed at..its only like 15 minutes and bombards you with japanese so you have to be on your toes..my friend who took four years of japanese and an ap course, got placed in only second quarter japanese..but hes also a slacker, lol..so now hes in class with me, hahaha
