<p>I feel like my hard classes are literally killing me. Sometimes, I wish we weren’t forced to take hard classes like this to make ourselves be competitive candidates. Some people take classes they hate and only want to take them to get college credit or look impressive on their college apps. Wouldn’t it be nice if we could take the classes we like because we want them? These budget cuts aren’t helping us out either in getting into our dream schools.</p>
<p>Would changing major have any impact on getting my decision from UCI by any chance? 
I’m still waiting to hear back for biomedical engineering. I changed my major from psychology to biomedical engineering so yeah :(</p>
<p>@rainsonata I agree with your opinion. IMHO I only took hard classes just so I’d get into a decent college. Most of the hard classes I took I don’t even like that much. Budget cuts are just screwing everyone over. Flashback 5 or so years ago with our grades we would have been guaranteed UCI, now nothing is guaranteed except UCM? ;]</p>

<p>UCI the school is 60-70 percent asian, so yes there are lots of fobs. I’m not sure if there are lots of chinese restaurants and such in the city of Irvine but if you go to other cities nearby there are lots of chinese fast food places. The city of Irvine demographically is mainly white.</p>

<p>Nobody got rejected so far, but UCI always gives the rejections on the last day. There are people who have been waitlisted already.</p>

<p>no clue… I did it out of desperation… I got rejected from UCLA and UCSD so my last hope is for UCI to accept me. I applied to UCSB and UCD as well but they don’t sound appealing to me.</p>
<p>I would think that at this point it doesn’t matter anymore. They have probably already decided who gets rejected/accepted/waitlisted and are just waiting to release them or something.</p>
