Quote: Don’t mock me my friend. It’s a condition of mental divergence. I find myself on the planet Ogo, part of an intellectual elite, preparing to subjugate the barbarian hordes on Pluto. But even though this is a totally convincing reality for me in every way, nevertheless Ogo is actually a construct of my psyche. I am mentally divergent, in that I am escaping certain unnamed realities that plague my life here. When I stop going there, I will be well. Are you also divergent, friend? -L.J. Washington from Twelve Monkeys

I got it 2 years ago during a physics fair. It was signed by the author and it’s awesome. Group theory FTW!

Do you think I would have a problem if I don’t like movies or recording?

I have a question: When you answer these questions, do you literally just put in the name of the book/movie/whatever, or do you type a very concise explanation too? I feel so blunt JUST putting “[insert movie]”.

I’m putting “meh” as my favorite word. Haha.

Quote: “Physics is like sex: sure, it may give some practical results, but that’s not why we do it.” – lolol should I actually use this? It’s by Feynman.

Book: Is God a Mathematician? – not entirely sure about this one yet
Memento: might just leave this one blank… no clue

Um… would it be weird if I put “onemanga.com” as my favorite website?
It’s true though so I’m leaning towards putting it.

I also have a few other things that raise some concerns:
1)Two adjectives your friends would use to describe you: “Honest, Noob”
I put noob because my friends and I always jokingly say that to each other.
2) Favorite word: Owned

Is this way too colloquial? I translated this question to really show the side of me that occurs at home in my room rather than at school.

I dunno. At an info session, the admissions officer blatantly told the audience not to answer favorite book questions with something like ‘Harry Potter’. He admitted that the question was meant to see what kind of intellectual areas you’re interested in, so to that end, being completely honest about your favorite book being something like Harry Potter or your movie being something completely brainless might work to your detriment.

What do you think of my answers?
