this bird is crazy! just watch the video!

http://www.big-boys.com/articles/petstar.html

It's not working on my computer. :[ I bet it must of been interesting.

That bird is hilarious!! Don't parrets have the same mental capacity as like a 4 year old?

I have a Congo African Grey parrot, and he is pretty amazing. Every time i walk out the door he says "bye bye." He kisses me and says i love you. He says my name, my brothers name, he says dad and mom in greek. He also says good boy, or his own name, which is "Junior." Every morning he tries to wake me up by saying, "wake up honey," in greek, just like my mom says it. He is incredibly smart, and part of the family. Yesterday my mom sprayed raid near his cage, so i took him to my room and we slept together, quite comfortably. In the morning i was eating cereal, and he tried to do the same with the spoon. Sometimes in the bathroom when he sees me brushing my teeth, he pics the tooth brush and waves it around, attempting to mimic me.

Having a parrot is no small thing, it takes up a lot of tim. A parrot is like a baby, you have to feed it, train, play with it, and of course love it. My parrot displays jealousy and affection. Sometimes he is happy, other times he is sad and stressed out. Still, he is my parrot, and iI love him a lot. I am constantly amzed by him and proud of him.

I have been amazed by parrots for quite a while, and have learned a lot about breeding them, training them, and the qualities of various species. If anyone wants to see pictures of Junior, or ask anything about any parrot, I would be more than willing to help out, just email me.

AFRICAN GRAY PARROTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IRENE PEPPERBERG!!!

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=alex+african+gray+parrot&btnG=Google+Search

Ever heard of Alex? He talks and knows what he actually talks about! Heck ethology is so amazing that I'm going into it if Astronomy doesn't go well for me.

There is little barrier between avian-human communication because birds rely primarily on sight and sound, just like humans. On the other hand, dolphins rely on ultrasound and dogs have poor sight and good sound and this poses a sense barrier to human-animal communications.

Hey if anyone has any recent info about Alex can you please post it here?

It would be REALLY interesting to see the world if humans weren't there. Maybe parrots would evolve to the extent that they would develop the cognitive abilities to develop civilization.

This parrot is even more amazing:
