<p>There’s absolutely no good reason why you wouldn’t be accepted. I’m sure you’ll get in NYU. Columbia’s a reach for everyone, but I wouldn’t be surprised if you got in.</p>

<p>Columbia’s definitely a reach (it is for everyone), but you have a much better shot than you think you do. The only thing I see hurting you is a lack of ‘unified’ ECs, but I think you have a good enough combination of depth, breadth and leadership for the seemingly scattered nature to have a negligible effect. Essays and recs could very well make or break your app, but that goes without saying. As others have said, in at NYU, unless you mess something up on the app lol.</p>
