you there! wanna help? i'll love you forever!!!!!!

helllooooo people! first post yeay. well here it goes:

Hi, i'm currently a junior at a very well know and nationally ranked public high school here in the US. however, this summer i'm moving to europe and i am planning to attend a boarding school in Austria. i know, it really sucks to be moving before your senior year and to now be considered an intl student. i really want to come back to the US for college and major in intl. relations or something related. here's my list:

Carnegie Mellon (Applying early and totally in love with this school!)

American

George Washington

Seton Hall

U Pittsburgh

Tufts

Colgate

Emory

Swarthmore

Brandeis

Boston College

William and Mary

U Richmond

(i have a few more safeties)

Here's the thing: currently i have a 3.54 UW GPA but I am in the top 15% of my class (there's 900 kids). I was very very very sad to suddenly learn about my move so I've suffered significantly in my classes. I'll probably end up with two low B's in AP English III and Pre-AP Algebra II. However, no one's gotten an A in AP English in three years (the teacher is psychotic) and I haven't had a math class in two years due to scheduling conflicts. I'm going to work extra hard this coming quarter to get uberhigh grades but i dont know if ill be able to balance the damage.

however, i might have an option. i can choose to take the two year IB program but I'd have to graduate in 2009. i wouldn't terribly mind doing this if it helps out a lot in the college admissions process but im not sure if i want to risk "wasting" a whole year before college. currently, i'm scheduled to continue taking AP classes.

here are my stats: (I'll keep it short)

3.54 UW/4.4 W (top 15%)

2230 SAT

AP Scholar with Distinction and I will probably become an AP International Scholar

SAT II- German- 800, US History- 760 (I'm planning on taking the Spanish test)

3 years Varsity Sport, Nationally and state ranked, district champion, regional qualifier, taught tennis at local country club (2 years). Plus, I may be recruited at some of the DIII schools but I haven't started the process yet.

VP Spanish Club (one of the biggest clubs at my school)

Director of Community Affairs for World Affairs Council (arguably the most prestigious club at my school together with NHS)

National Honor Society Member

Internship with London Parliamentary Law Firm (one month)

Volunteered for two weeks in Costa Rica

Around 250 Community Service hours

Fluently speak 4 languages

Very interesting background and heritage

Half hispanic

Co-started fundraiser for raising money to donate to an African relief mission. Total amount was $1500 and it took a significant amount of effort and planning and we believe that it turned out very successfully. In conjunction with this, I have been offered a spot with the relief mission in charge of handling the money to work for 3 months next summer (2008) in Africa to improve child health care. I am super excited!

2 year State Spanish Symposium qualifier (three top 3 finishes in individual events)

Won numerous city and regional awards through various academic competitions

I will be an international student but will need NO FINANCIAL AID
