If you were to open up your own University, what would the requirements be to get in?
Athletic talent. All students must play a D1 sport or be involved with the athletic program, with majors offered such as physical training, physiology, as well as a business school. There will be a top medical school on campus, specializing in sports and orthopedic medicine.

What would the most important factors be to get in?
Recruited athletes need a 2.0 GPA and 1200 SAT, and will be given a full ride scholarship. Other students will simply be selected by in order a) their ability to contribute to the athletic programs and b) their ability to afford tuition. There will be no need-based aid, rather athletic scholarships will be the only form of aid. Work-study programs will be required as a part of “community service” to the university, with no money being earned towards tuition.

How would you organize the school?
Athletes get their own, state of the art, hall with top notch facilities, and on-site gym and trainer. Living will be suite-style, with a common bathroom featuring a massaging jacuzzi. Beds will be scientifically engineered to promote muscle growth. All meals served will be nutritionally optimized. Non-Athletes will have their own residential college, with still modern, although worse, facilities. They will have access to the athlete meal plan for a fee.

What would you name it?
Nike University. Due to the low amount of tuition paying students, we have signed an agreement with Nike in order to fund our university and our athletics. In turn, we provide free advertising as well as underpaid labor in the form of “work-study.”

What would the school’s focus be?
Hardcore partying. And athletics.

Where would it be located?
San Diego, CA. Perfect weather (practice will be year round, there is no off season).

What would the school’s motto be?
Win, at any cost.

What would be the school mascot?
The Olympians, with Hercules as the school’s mascot.

What would be the school colors?
Whatever Nike decides to come up with. As part of our deal, we will test out all Nike Uniforms, much like Oregon. Only better.

What would its rank be?
Athletics: Consensus 1st in every major poll for every sport.
Academically: 9th. Nike bribed US News and World Report.

Who from College Confidential would you want to attend?
Anyone who can run a 4.3 40 or bench 500. Also, if you can perform an ACL reconstruction, we may waitlist you.
