I recently got accepted into the Altoona campus because I wasn’t able to make it on to the UP. It gave me the option to accept the offer which was what I was about to do today. But when I logged in this message came up,
“Your application record is currently being updated. Please logout and return to your MyPennState profile in a few minutes to see your updated application information.”
I am getting nervous are they retracting their offer? does anybody else have the same message?
My guess would be that it’s probably not them rescinding your offer – it could be any number of more normal things. (For example, for some reason Financial Aid deleted two of my scholarships in LionPATH this semester, and seemed to be partially done with replacing them with new scholarships of equal amount when the office closed for the day. I therefore got an email that I was now delinquent by several thousand dollars. They fixed it the next day with no explanation.)
Try to log in again later, and call the admissions office on Monday if it’s still not working by then.

My S got accepted awhile back and we were going on and have the same message. It has been at least an hour. Don’t worry, try later or tomorrow. Probably doing service/updates/etc.
I’m a current student, not an applicant, so that was just an example of how sometimes they change things in the online systems for reasons only they understand. It usually works out though.
I just checked again and accepted my offer thanks to everyone who replied!!!
