Hello @skieurope , thank you for the time you spend moderating. A reply I wrote yesterday morning on the Vassar forum was flagged for moderation and has not yet appeared. I was careful to omit links, but did mention a piece published on medium.com and another published on Slate. Should I omit reference to those sites entirely? Was there another issue that I missed?
I would love to edit to meet guidelines and re-post it; I put a fair amount of time into trying to write a balanced comment on an issue on which I thought I could shed some light for another family considering the school. Unfortunately I did not save a copy of my post (unless they auto-save somewhere that I don’t know). I’d be grateful for your feedback, and doubly grateful if you could message the post back to me!
@skieurope I recently posted a post as well and I was wondering why it was removed. I also got the message that it has been flagged for moderation, but I don’t think I used any profane words or included any links. Would it be possible for me to know why it was removed because the message didn’t describe why?
This does not appear to be true. For example, the web site URL for College Raptor’s web site does not cause a moderator review of the message (which is posted instantly), but the domain name in the web site URL is replaced by *** .
(Discovered this while replying to a post asking about a College Raptor scholarship.)
