do any of you guys have the application status page saying the school report and final high school transcript have not been received yet? My school claimed they sent it on like october 15th...so it shoudln't take two weeks right? And does the postmark date apply to school report and transcript too?

It usually takes Cornell approximately 3 weeks to update the profile page. Therefore, your transcript might have already been received long time ago.

i literally was having butterflies flying all over my stomach before the deadline cos i still haven written out my cornell supplement essay. i had drafted out one before bt din really write it out. finished at the last minute---results of procrastination. i am kinda satisfied with all my essays, but m scared that my international status and mediocre sat scores will pull me down. i did everything for cornell ed as the chance of being admitted is significantly higher. my major, aem is very competitive so i think by applying ed i will have higher chances. anyone here applying AEM?

for what i am going to do--definitely study, i really envy you guys cos you all finally can relax a bit, but i still have tonnes of exams coming up, have to resit for SAT again to push up my scores.

worrying about the CRAP SAT II score from Sophomore year.
CRAP BIO SCORE APPLYING FOR BIO MAJOR :(
there goes my chances.
Maybe I'll have a kind person review my applications. MAYBE.
I guess I'll be busy praying for these next few weeks.
And then fill out all the applications to the other schools =D

"I just wanted to know the DEADLINE, because they came back around the same time expected this year, but they started later.. i think.."
the due date was November 1st last year as well. and the decision day is about the same time, if not a few days earlier.

also...all you people taking calc 3 make me feel dumb! I am barely scraping by calc 2!!

Oh don't worry faustarp, I didn't do super-well in AP Calc BC, and still not doing super-well in Calc 3.

Oh, and I'm completely screwed for HumEc because my only Math SAT II was the Math I (which I took freshman year) and got a 640... my Bio E sat ii was a 790, but is the freshman math score going to kill me?
I didn't have a chance to take Math II because I took other ones instead (ones that I could actually score well on).
And also, is a 750 on the Spanish SAT II for a non-native speaker good?

"....i really envy you guys cos you all finally can relax a bit, but i still have tonnes of exams coming up, have to resit for SAT again to push up my scores."
yep. definitely not relaxing. I am enjoying having the tremendous pressure of writing my essays over with. my fall sports season ended yesterday as well, so, YES. But I am not relaxing... damn APs.

I shouldn't say I can relax yet either. My school works in trimesters and the exams are next week, so I still need to study my butt off for those.

Try to finish all RD applications before the ED result comes out.

Keep up your schoolwork because you may need your senior GPA right up to the bitter end - God forbid if you should be waitlisted for Cornell and other dream schools, or even do transfer later on.

Keep your fingers crossed that Cornell's server wouldn't crash on the notification day, which it did last year.

I'm going to complete all my applications for my RD schools. Then I'm going to fire up Oblivion or Spore and put in a few dozen hours to relax. 8)

just wondering, but what will happen if I haven't submitted my financial aid app? my parents' accountant has been out and he won't be back until tuesday...meaning I won't have everything ready until wednesday. i'm just...really confused/scared about the consequences of that right now. =[

december 15th is approx a month away.
that is a very short time, and i cannnot wait.

have to finish up rolling deadlines for umich, rutgers. so tedious.

hmm, i wanna lose a couple of pounds just because.
pray, pray, pray, pray that i get into cornell. because getting in would be one of the happiest days of my life. & my parents. plus, i'd get whatever i want. haha. and throw a big party.

keep hoping that cornell will consider me for alternate choice also because only about 50 kids get into aem for ed...sigh.

yah, that's pretty much it.

hopefully i will be part of cornell class of 2013!

I'll definitely be freaking out at least twice a day until 12/15. Maybe trying to read a book between now and then, around my ridiculous courseload...but probably not.
