Your favorite (hs) musical

hmmm... not Ragtime, and the person who wrote "into the woods" should be shot with a beretta or "cobbled"... eh, Footloose was pretty good , because "somebody's eyes are watching you..."

Pajama Game. We produced it last year, right before it went on broadway. I have a feeling no one will be getting the rights for a long time nowlll

Two hilarious plays, superbly done by my school. The production of Damn Yankees this year was also great.

I really only remember "The Music Man." Is that the name? I'm bad with musicals. Also High School Musical was just plain weird. Maybe it's because I am a guy.

My school (no way, not me!) is doing Beauty and the Beast this year. I have no acting/singing talent, but I enjoy watching, especially since I have some really talented friends.

we did the music man when i was a freshman. Shipoopi!

That's cool. I want to see the costume for the Beast.

my favorite production was this year's musical BEAUTY AND THE BEAST!!

yea...rock on!!

arsenalsweep:

do u happen to go to TCHS???

Wow...I love musicals to death. Especially Sondheim shows.

So...favorite musical? Can't choose AT ALL.

i go to the fame school so all our productions are bangin. this year we did HAIR which was wonderful. a lot of my friends were in it. Even though they had to censor parts of it (the nude scene and that song about masterbation) it was so great. a lot of hippies showed up :)

My school has this competition between the grades in which each grade (senior, junior and then soph-frosh) puts on a production every year called SING!. It's all student run and made and seeing the final product is really a fun experience. That's probably my favorite production that my school does.

do you go to stuy?

From senior--> freshman years, my school's musicals have been Cats, Les Miserables, Pirates of Penzance, and South Pacific. I'm involved in the tech stuff.

Les Mis is my favorite I guess... Cats is close too, although before actually being involved in our production of it, I couldn't stand the show. It takes a while to simply accept that there is no plot and be OK with it.
