I just happened to be thinking about them now. I'm listening to "What Is This Feeling?" from the Wicked Soundtrack. I also love RENT, Spring Awakening, and A Very Potter Musical ;D. Anyone suggest any good musicals? Anyone wish to share any experiences of seeing any on stage?

The Phantom of the Opera! I love that movie and I have the soundtrack on my ipod:) I’ve never actually seen it on stage though:/ Maybe I will someday:>

whatever’s on Broadway. last one i watched was the little mermaid, which was AMAZING, btw.

I actually have seen Phantom of the Opera on stage in Broadway. We saw it on an 8th grade trip, 6th row from the front. It’s pretty good too, and I have a few songs from it on my iPod. It’s also sadly the only musical I’ve seen. I need to see one of the ones I listed above.

Was the Little Mermaid that good? lol

Wow, that would be awesome! If it makes you feel any better, I haven’t seen any. I hope to see some soon though:>

I saw the Phantom on Broadway, too. But yea The Little Mermaid was pretty awesome. My favorite part was when Flounder was singing “She’s in Love”. Best part of the show, he was like a little blonde 10 year old singing and it was amazing! Seriosuly, I’d watch it again just to hear that little kid sing.

Wow, sounds awesome. So who thinks that Idina Menzel is an AMAZING singer? I would love to see her as Elphaba or Maureen on Broadway. Adam Pascal would also be pretty cool to see.

Yes! She’s awesome! I was just listening to her oddly haha. I like the Wicked soundtrack, but for me, it doesn’t beat The Phantom of the Opera:>

Haha. I have One Short Day and Dancing Through Life stuck in my head at the same exact time. It’s kind of odd, haha.

I saw Guys and Dolls in philly. It was amazing :]
I REALLY want to see spring awakening. Hairspray was good too. (the movie- i haven’t seen the broadway)

RENT! i haven’t seen it on broadway, though – i’ve only seen the movie. i don’t give a fuuuck that it was critically panned. it’s absolutely genius. . .

Yea, I definitely agree about RENT. My friend saw it with Anthony Rapp and Adam Pascal. I was so jealous. So amazing. I have all of La Vie Boheme memorized =]

My favorite is undoubtedly Spring Awakening. I love it ridiculously much. I saw it when it came to my city in June and it was soo good! I love Lea Michele (who is now in GLEE) so much! And all of the other people in the original cast are amazing! I’ve been pretty obsessed with it for almost a year now.

My other two favorites are Phantom of the Opera and Les Miserables. I know a ridiculous amount of information about POTO. I’ve loved it for years, but unfortunately have never seen it live. It was my favorite musical for a while until I found SA. And I think Les Mis is probably the best musical. I’ve seen it twice now (one high school production, one city production) and loved it both times. Some amazing singers have been in it, like Colm Wilkinson, Michael Ball and Frances Ruffele, who are all amazing. I’ve only read about 100 pages of the book, but it’s supposed to be incredible, and the musical is amazing. I love it. :)

Musicals are one of my favorite things. Ever. I love all of them so much. :)

And, what’s A Very Potter Musical? I’m assuming it’s about Harry Potter?

I LOVE musicals. Theatre is my life. I’m a future musical theatre major. My favorite musical are Sweeney Todd and The Light in the Piazza.

I get to see the Rent tour with Anthony Rapp and Adam Pascal in October. :)

^I am jealous, haha. So awesome. Yea, A Very Potter Musical is a satire musical about the Harry Potter series. It truly is great, look it up on youtube.

Do any of you know of Moulin Rouge? Is it a good musical?

I saw the movie a long time ago.

Was it good?

Yeah. I don’t even remember it but I think that the guy was hot, too. A bonus ;)

the light in the piazza is the best musical ever!

it kind of ruined vacations for me though. true love just doesnt pop up like that. ='[

I saw Spamalot today. You can’t get any better than Les Mis though.
