Your favorite patch of campus grass?

As we all know, the campus has tons of grassy areas to sit on or frolick around. Which grassy area is your favorite?

Personally the like that hill of grass on the west side of Wheeler facing Durant Hall.

4.0 hill where I can sit and look at the Faculty Club art deco lantern on the right, the Campanile looking up, a cool female statue in front of me, Strawberry Creek and that statue of that coach (Pappy something name) on my left. Very peaceful and reeking in history.

I like the area next to VLSB, by strawberry creek.

^ parts of that area I avoid because it tends to be squishy mud!

the bench amidst the forest like area south of 4.0 hill... i forget what its called... but it has the creek running through and the statue of the football coach or w.e it is (I forget).

Pappy Waldorf! Sigh

I've never heard it called 4.0 hill...I've heard of 4.0 ball. The glade is formally called Faculty Glade.

The small lawns outside Sproul Hall...I absolutely love seeing all the hustle and bustle of clubs, students, and faculty while enjoying my standard GBC lunch in the sun!

Since I live in Foothill, and never venture past Evans (yay for CS), I'd have to say the new patch in Hearst Mining Circle. I think it'll look even better once the fountain gets going.

not really a grassy area, but area west of the campanile

The new patch in Hearst Mining eh? ewww, remember that strong cow dung smell last semester just before they lay the grass? I ain't gonna sit on there fo sho.....

I dont recall the cow dung smell...

I do it was horrible for a few days having discussion in Evans....the whole building reaked.....but now the grass is probably fine to sit on. I like siting on the patch in front of the chancellors house....makes me feel VIP!

The whole area between the Music Library and Wurster Hall (best building on campus).
