Your Good Buy Of The Day (Part 2)

I don’t remember if this was discussed in Good Buy thread or in travel, but the Southwest gift cards are on sale at Costco for the next 2 days, $430 for a $500 card.

I think there was a sheets thread fairly recently, but I can’t find it.
The company store has some sheets on sale for 40% off. Towels too.

It’s a freebee. With my T-Mobile account, they are offering 1 year of AAA membership for free. I’m already a member so next Feb I won’t have to pay for 1 year (worth about $60).

I also redeemed my REI credits for the year. I had $150 and got a Hydroflask, a neck pouch for my passport, and a Marmot duffel bag. I had offered the points to my kids if they needed anything, they didn’t, so I got to spend them on myself. Since they’ve nabbed my favorite carry-on bags, I think I deserve the duffel. I think one of my kids took my passport carrier too. Darn kids.

T-Mobile has a lot of deals, but most of them I don’t use. I do get Netflix ‘free’ (or really included) sometimes there are deals on MLB for the summer or another streaming service for a short time. This was a good one as it is something I already pay for. Yea!

We have AAA and t-mobile. How do we get the deal too?

Yes we have friends who get the t mobile weekly deals. We get a military discount with AT&T and when I looked at some other options the other company I looked at couldn’t offer the cellular for my iPad. So, oh well.

I got that T-Mobile/AAA offer and tried to redeem it. I’m already a member and my renewal is due at the end of this month. Apparently I had to pay this year’s renewal and I’ll get the credit next year? Ugh, whatever. Maybe I’ll remember to follow up a year from now.

And @HImom i got the offer in an email. If you’ve opted out of emails maybe you can google it or chat on the T-Mobile site.

Yes, I got an email from the ‘CEO’ (marking dept)

This is what I could copy for you.

O2BonCC - I completed the form (only took a couple of tries as my AAA number changed from last year) and it says ‘I’m all set’ so we’ll see in Feb if it just renews without my paying. It did not ask me for a credit card number so nothing to lose.

I seem to be in some kind of limbo between Sprint and T-Mobile; sometimes the offers work for me and sometimes they don’t, but I have what I think is a pretty good plan ($100 for 4 lines, unlimited, plus free Hulu - is that good? I think it is?) so I don’t want to rock the boat too much.

I have the T mobile app on my phone and can see all the offers available to me and which one I am currently using.

I am a long time TMobile customer. We get free Netflix, AppleTV, Paramount Plus (6 months only) and AAA (for one year).

To get the free stuff, go to your account and then “Manage Ad-Ons” You’ll see a list of all the Ad-On/upgrade options there.

Yesterday I bought this thin down jacket for $19.99 (32-degrees brand, in Brown but really is more of a cocoa color). It’s a $26.99 online, including shipment.

I like it. Very light but still warm. There was no Small in this style, so I go the Medium. That’s nice because it fits over a sweater or blazer (or my hooded thin travel jacket). Fits under my hooded windbreaker too, so I have a nice assortment of layers for travel. Eying the new jacket for use in a stuff bag (not included) as extra pillow/cushion behind my back in plane seats.

That is a great deal. W have 4 lines and an iPad. Also unlimited. Am a bit afraid to mess with the plan without giving the kids a big heads up in case it messes with their phones.

32 degrees has lots of great sales and deals. Both of my down jackets (one short, one long) have stuff sacks.

If yours is a Magenta plan then you should have gotten an email from them. Ours is a 55+ plan and Magenta but whether those are one and the same I do not know.

The are a couple of 55+ plans, and Magenta is one of them. It qualifies for Netflix and for this AAA offer. I tried to add Apple + but it said it didn’t qualify. I will have to call.
