Your most "chill" class?

World Literature. The teacher is laid-back, the tests are easy, and the books are interesting and thought-provoking.

definetly art class for me…It’s so laid back, and you just go at your own pace to get projects done. You listen to music the whole class, talk, and maybe actually get some work done

Apes - what a joke

My most chill class would be my computer hardware course. The teacher is really easy and it’s a class I’m the most interested in.

Probably latin or ap stat.

Engineering Analysis. All he does is talk about his life experiences, which are funny and teach you alot too.

Block Bio. The teacher tries to teach, but isn’t successful.

For example, we have now spent the first month and a half watching videos on youtube about duct-taping cats, reading articles about killing cats, etc. He hates cats.

The only learning we’ve done is learning about optical illusions. And that was because the principal was listening to him teach because parents have been complaining… haha.

He’s a first year teacher, and has assured us “You may think you aren’t learning anything, but when you walk out of here you’ll be confident in what I’ve taught you.” So… I guess we’ll be confident in Study Hall next year because that’s how easy his class is? Bahaha.

So yea, I use that class as a Study Hall, because I actually like cats!

Parent teacher conferences are tomorrow, and he’s going to have fun explaining why the only thing we’ve done in class is having our parents sign our rubric.

English. My teacher is crazy (awesome), and we usually just end up talking about life.

AP Euro History. My teacher’s the best. Most of the time he just lets us do whatever, as long as we hand the assignments in.

Comp science 2 (// independent study, comp sci 2 was an AP last year but they removed it)

Me and my friends got special permission to use the computers in our teachers small office (hes like 24 , azn , and doesnt care)

we take all the tests and get 100s since we know everything already that it covers (we’re programming b34sts :P) We usually just talk about random tech stuff / school stuff.

Oh and we usually have ice cream or sodas lol

AP physics, no hw, lots of tangential discussions, no legit grades, even on the 1 test we’ve taken (everyone has a 100).

Health class. Thankfully it’s REQUIRED by New York to graduate, so I can’t say that I could have taken a harder class over it.

Office Aide :D

For a real class though, calculus.

ever? I’d say last year’s english 3 class. All my friends were in it and we got to choose our seats. It would take 15 minutes to pass out reading books, spend 15 minutes reading that, and spend 15 minutes putting them back. For a few weeks, 8 people brought their DS’s and played Mario Kart together, etc…

Last year, my Honors english II and AP Computer Science both were incredibly “chill”. This year there’s no really “chill” classes.

PreCalc. My teacher is a 50-something female and really relaxed. We go over homework for half the class, learn for about 15 minutes, and have a few free minutes at the end. Since it’s before lunch she lets us order take-out whenever we want, and luckily, I have some really organized people in my class who take care off all the logistics. They like to order from really complicated places, though it does get expensive.

My most relaxed class right now is AP Art History. We sit there and look at slides while my teacher talks, all our work, quizzes, and tests are easy, my teacher’s laid back, and it’s my last class of the day, meaning I have the whole school day to do my homework.

My most chill class ever was Algebra III last year. The class was for seniors who didn’t want to take Pre-Cal and I was 1 out of the 2 juniors in there, so you know it was a joke. It was basically a remedial class, teaching us stuff we already learned in Algebra II and Geometry. Then, my teacher had to leave for a family emergency 2 months before graduation, so it REALLY became a waste of time. We were given 8th-grade worksheets to do and our substitute for the year told us that since our teacher had to leave, everyone was going to pass. Was the epitome of an easy class.

Currently Contemporary World Issues, mostly because I already know the material. The projects are lengthy, but only because I completely over-estimate the amount of work we’re expected to put into them… and get a 100% even though half the work would have also gotten me a 100%. Trying to find that equilibrium point before I set the bar higher.

Last year it was Honors English 11. I bullshat all my writing and got straight As. The tests were so easy. Some of the quizzes (??) were really tough, but they counted so little that I never bothered to pass them and still got a 96%. In tenth grade it was Communicating through the Arts. The class didn’t have a curriculum and we had the most awesome teacher ever, so we rotated theater-type projects with intellectual discussions. In ninth grade it was Principles of Engineering… the teacher fudged our grades and sat in the back playing MarioKart on DS while we chatted and caught up on other class homework. Actually no, I think that class was tied with Freshman Seminar. Freshman Seminar was my only integrated class that year (well no, I had health, but that was stupid because the teacher wanted you to remember inane facts), and I had just plain forgotten how low the bar is set in regular classes as opposed to honors or accelerated classes. Wowza.

Other than yoga and P.E., health was definitely my next easiest. We just sat and watched movies made in the '80s all day that talked about wrong and right actions. In addition to that, we would have free days where we just did homework. Sometimes people would ditch their other classes and come into mine and talk about drugs etc. This one senior would come in and talk about the consequences of alcohol and drugs…he died from a drug overdose the day after he graduated.

Probably AP Physics…

My teacher never marks tests or homework. Rumor has it that he just BS your grade…
