I feel like we all have this one achievement that we hardly ever think about, but we're still proud of it. Not necessarily because the achievement isn't that much to be proud of, but because you don't think about it in every day life. So what's yours?

p.s I do not mean for this to be a bragging party. xD

I’m not 100% sure what your asking. If by “obscure” you mean not well known, some of my judo stuff would fit the bill. For example I’m certified in a kata. I can’t even explain what that is to someone not familiar with martial arts.

If you want something I never talk about… I was once offered a contract by a well-known modeling agency. My mom took my younger sister and dragged me along, and I was just sitting in the waiting room reading a book, and they said they wanted to sign me. I NEVER talk about it because a) I’m not looks-obsessed at all and HATE the thought of being paid for looking pretty and b) I don’t want to hurt my sister’s feelings because she really wanted a contract and didn’t get one. But it’s a nice self esteem booster when I feel bad about my looks.

In 4th grade I created a school newspaper. Mind you, it wasn’t just a little two page crayons and pen piece of work, it was the real deal. They printed off enough copies for the whole school (about 300 kids) and there was about 15 reporters working on it. It continued on after I left elementary school for a couple of more years too.

I wrote a 50,000 word novel in 30 days when I was 12 (for NaNoWriMo).
I watched 40 hours of Merlin in 4 days before christmas.
I got to the national cyclocross (nobody’s even heard of the sport) final for under 16s boys and girls when I was 12. I came second from last but still.

Began a 10 page research paper the night before it was due (the researching/finding sources, writing, citations, everything) and got an A (97 I think?). This was junior year :)

^
I procrastinate in English all the time, and I think I get decent grades because the other papers are comparatively worse. Most of my classmates think a good topic sentence for a paper is, “This is my paper.” I’ll probably flunk English in college.

I feel the same way. I don’t know how many college essays I’ve read for friends that ended with “and that’s why I want to go to X University.” I’ll probably be the worst writer in a college English class (especially if a miracle happens and I get into an Ivy…)

I got a higher PSAT score as a sophomore than any of the other sophomores and juniors in my school. (The junior class is like 25, and the sophomore class is like 35, but still :D).

My most obscure achievement would be barely getting an A in AP Biology even though I failed the last 2 tests before grades were submitted. I think I should have gotten a B! But somehow I intervened.
