I’m not sure if anybody is actually going to read this, but I have a question…I did well (for MY standards, not yours) on CR & Writing, but got 530 on math. Those of you who scored high on the math, HOW DO YOU DO IT!!! I thought I did well!

^ To be honest, I didn’t study much for math. Some people are just good at it and can go through a math section easily. Others just don’t know how to go about all of the problems. There are some techniques one can use, but most of it is knowing your geometry and algebra. Substitution or plugging-in the answers are some techniques one can use for example. You might have gone about the problems the wrong way, maybe some silly mistakes too.

2390, first time

CR 800
M 790
W 800

also, how do you guys know your MC subscores and essay scores? Collegeboard won’t show me mine until April 5.

2390, first time

CR 800
M 790
W 800

I got an 800, here is my advice. You have to be quick yet careful. You also have to know how to think about SAT type math questions. I didn’t study for this section at all but for other people, doing Practice Tests is the best way to improve.

2300 first time! Only my reading suffered but once I improve, I should have a near perfect superscore
710 CR
790 Math
800 Writing (80 MC 9 essay)

Where can you find the essay subscore? Collegeboard won’t let me see my scores in detail.

ysquared I can’t see my essay either :/

you guys have problems if you say your disappointed with a 2200. It’s just ridiculous to read. I got a 2030 but my whole sense of accomplishment is washed away from the fact that i guess its really not that good

CR 650
M 740
W 640
mc: 62
essay : 9

DANG PEOPLE!!! i was all excited but you all make me look dumb…oh well still extremely pleased with my 800 in writing (lets not talk about the 630 math and 680 reading)…haha…2110

O_O I guess I’m at at the lower end @ college confidential.

760 M
760 W, 9 essay
650 CR

Total 2170.

This is my first time, so I can’t superscore, but:

Total 2330
Math: 790
Writing: 800
CR: 740

What’s weird is that usually I get a tiny bit lower on math and almost always get perfect/close to perfect on CR. So I’ll probably retake it to get a better CR score.

Congrats to everyone on your scores! As long as you tried your hardest, any score is great!

Thanks guys for your help so far!!! 2400 on my first try!!! So thrilled!!!
I love god.

i got a 1830 . not good not bad .

but every who got over 2200 and is UPSET ?!?!
you NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED mental care

well. it’s all based on relative perspective and aims. If one is aiming for an ivy league, then it is easy to see why one may be upset about not getting a better score.

CR - 680 (def retaking. so many stupid mistakes)
M - 790
W - 780

2250
