Your yearbook quote?

"Some cause happiness wherever they go; others, whenever they go."

This confused me for the longest time. Does this mean that some people never choose to leave?

Not sure yet, but maybe I'll steal one from this thread! :p

mine was "change is not in your comfort zone".
most girls at my school put "heres to the nights i can't remember with the friends i'll never forget" or stuff like "to my hunny and my son- mommy luvs yooh both and to da crew- neva forget were HC for lyph!"

the interesting thing about my high school is that you turned in quotes on the first day of senior year and if you put it in the box it goes in the yearbook whether you finish school or not. we had about 400 seniors in our yearbook for a graduating class of 290. apparently senior year is too much for a quarter of the class.

Who said "change is not in your comfort zone"? Just a personal quote of yours?

No, it says that some people cause happiness wherever they go [e.g. somebody walks into a room and people are happy because of it] but some people cause happiness whenever they go [e.g. you walk out of a room and THEN everybody's happy] lol.

lol me either. our school's dumbest quotes are the

JM I LUV YA FOREVA AND EVA FO LIFE

and crap like that.

[/quote]

^LOL. There was this senior couple at my school last year who wrote each other messages in their senior quotes, like this: "I plan to graduate, marry my pooh bear and have lots of little wittle babies!!! Aw baby I luv u 4eva"
But they broke up after submitting the quotes and well, now it's in their senior quote forever. :]

My AP Euro teacher uses this quote a lot which I like:

"Men can do all things if they will"
-Battista Alberti

LOL Inveniamviam. I NEVER would have imagined Oscar Wilde saying something so lighthearted as THAT. I totally thought it was something profound.

Senior quotes are so dumb. Sometimes i just want to put "A witty saying proves nothing" but others have already put that before, i'd hate to repeat someone else's.

"change is not in your comfort zone"

i found it on the internet but couldn't find out who said it. i put anonymous.

"Good luck."

I'm contemplating putting that down.

How bout, "Good luck, sucka"
Lololol

"forsan et haec olim meminisse juvabit"

Vergil, anyone?
