The Jeff Metcalf Internship Program is a flagship internship program for undergraduate students at the University of Chicago. There were more than 2,800 Metcalf internships this year, and 230 students were assigned to internships in Asia this summer, 113 of whom were sponsored by Yuan. Compared with the 149 Asian internships in the previous academic year, the internship opportunities for this school year increased by 54%.
