you are so lucky! where did you end up getting it and for how much $$?

haha, my dad spend the whole morning at thssoe malls full of electronic stuff and i got it for S$300....

Can anyone tell me the benefits of the creative zen micro as opposed to the creative zen touch besides the fact that the former has more size? Anything else different between the 2?

Zen touch is alot bigger and heavier but holds more. I think that overal the zen micro gets much higher ratings. Zen touch may not support playlists, but I don't remember. I think it's a choice of size of hard drive/size of player.

Oh, and zen micro is prettier. Blue backlight and border so nice! It also comes in 10 colors, touch only comes in one.

I went to an electronic store today, and the guy really sold me on the Touch. I haven't bought anything yet, but I held the Touch and it didn't seem that heavy honestly. And here's 1 feature of the Touch:

Create and customize playlists on-the-go, unique Search Function locates any song, album or artist

I haven't seen the Micro in person nor actually touched it, but online it doesn't look as nice as the touch. Sure it has a lot of colors, but it doesn't have the cool groove to browse the songs with.
Here's a pic, remember i haven't actually seen this thing in person, so are those "buttons" to go through the songs or is it a groove too?

If there's no extra features other than the colors and maybe a lighter weight, I'll just go with the Touch, it's only $36 more than the Micro and holds 15 MB more.

I've been trying to get in touch with my inner spirit. Zen has allowed a new window into my soul. Now, I sit and meditate all day. However, I am no lazy man, for he who does not worketh does not eateth as according to grand Zen Master John Smith.

As I dwelve into the tumultuous, turbulent, and treaturous travesty that terrorizes my soul into terminal pain and fear, I realize that that was a whole lot of alliteration.

Do you feel my astral presence? I know someone out there must, this internet line probably just emphasizes that aura. Maybe my chi is too weak, I must meditate more, and meditate harder.

Sounds like a plan. A++

hey final star. we are actually talking about the zen line of mp3 players.

OKkkkkkkkay none of you convinced me otherwise, I'm gettin the Touch it seems. Thanks for the help .. I mean 15 extra MB for 36 bucks more. sounds like a deal.

I have a touch!!!

I'm VERY happy with it so far. If you have any questions let me know. You definitely can make playlists. You can make them on the mp3 player, but it's easier to just hook the touch up to the computer and make the playlist on there.

One thing to remember is to grab one of those car adapters for cd players. That way you can listen in your car.
