ZOMG, I just realized how much waiting sucks

It's been one day, and I'm already ****ed that I don't know if I got in. I've got 5 Ivy league apps in. Nothing is certain. I'm not even sure if I'm in at my good match, slightly a fall back school (Michigan) yet. AHHHHH. 2 months... WHY?

2 months? 3 months until the beginning of April

86 days

don't worry about it. The most stressful times are right after you submit and righ before you find out. The time in between is survive-able

Crap, now I can't count.

The next three months basically seem like a pit of bottomless despair to me. I have my Really Important French Oral and my Really Important History Paper and my Really Important English Paper and my Equally Important Chemistry Labs, Biology Labs and Math Portfolios (all IB requirements) and I'm SO TIRED of high school and I'm sorry but I DON'T CARE ANYMORE and why can't it just be OVER.

sigh

It's not even the stress. It's all the silly little requirements I have to pretend to take seriously in the meantime.

Ughh, I know how you feel... only I've got 6 Ivy apps in, plus a Williams & Duke, a few I-thought-they-were-safety-or-secure-but-not-really schools.. and then my only safety is BC. Kinda considering applying to a few more places where the deadlines haven't passed yet. >_<

I know how you feel camelia. The good part is that...it doesn't really matter anymore! Once Mid-Year Reports are mailed in, if you keep decent grades WHO CARES. I'm sick of the requirements too...I'm taking 2 classes Pass/Fail next semester! So basically that means never doing my homework and just studying for tests enough to get about an 75-80. Which I think will be pretty nice.

We clicked submit. It's going to be a long three months...but think of all the stuff we can do! Second semester senior year is the "best time of high school" and I am determined to make it that way...if that means skipping class in February to go swimming (haha, might be too cold for a lot of yall to do that) or taking "mental health" days to drive to Mexico, then...so be it!
