Zoology - Michigan State Lymn Briggs or Wisconsin-Madison

My daughter wishes to get her undergraduate degree in zoology and she has been accepted into Michigan State's Lyman Briggs College and the University of Wisconsin - Madison. Does anybody have an opinion as to which school has the better zoology program?

Both programs may nearly be respected as the other :[Rankings - Veterinary Medicine - Graduate Schools - Education - US News and World Report](http://grad-schools.usnews.rankingsandreviews.com/best-graduate-schools/top-veterinarian-schools/rankings)

I think your daughter should look more in detailed to each program, and overall preferences such as location etc…

Both appear to have excellent Zoo depts. Madison is a better overall academic experience.

I have a couple friends who are in the zoology program at MSU. Top-notch, I can attest from what little I hear. But Wisconsin’s program is undeniably strong as well. I’d choose which to attend based off other school attributes (aside from the zoology program itself).

^^^^^

Exactly. Both schools would be fine for the academics in zoology. Choose based on location, cost, and overall feel of each place. Visit if at all possible, and let her decide where she’d like to spend the next four years.
