Will just missing the top 10 percent kill my chances? Both my SATs and ECs are more than proficient but my GPA is clearly not…

By all means do apply.
Schools like to see a strong academic profile (GPA, SATS/ACT, etc). Although 80% of those BC admits are in the top 10% of their HS class, there is no black and white 10% line.

Once they’ve established you’re strong academically, they’ll turn to the rest of your application - often viewed as more important.

All the best - but do apply!

I definitely will. Thanks for the advice. Does anyone know of others who’ve gotten in without being in the top 10 percent?

Read through the past years’ decision threads in this BC forum and you’ll see many who got accepted who were not in the top 10 (and many who were in the top 10 who did not get accepted).

@jpm50 I’ll definitely check it out! Great to know I still have a chance. Thanks again
