100 point GPA scale?

What is considered a ‘good’ grade on the 100 pt scale? By good I mean upper LAC or lower ivy level. I know on a 4.0 scale you want at least a 3.7/3.8 (UW) to have a decent shot but I’m just not sure what is equivalent to that on the 100 point scale. My school uses the 100 pt scale and (yes a generalization) I think that probably makes it harder to get perfect grades, because while I would get an A in a course, I get a 94, which just doesn’t seem ‘perfect’, while an A is. What would be an upper LAC worthy GPA? Thanks for any advice.

bump .

i'll bump this as well bc i am in a similar situation. i would think a 93 and above would be considered lower-ivy worthy

I'm in the same situation. My GPA is 93.9 unweighted, should be about 94+ after the first semester of Sr. year.

bump. Anyone know?

so three people want to know, but nobody does?

The equivalent of a 3.7/3.8 on the 100 point scale would be a 92/93. I agree with those sentiments. Anything above a 92 unweighted is respectable at a top LAC/lower Ivy level.

So then my 90.7 unweighted/94 weighted will be viewed as a 3.5-3.7?

and my 93.5 unweighted could get me into barnard?? (yes, you're right, that is my secret intent behind this whole thread.)

Wow. I'm so glad to read this. I have a 93.6 uw and have been rather anxious. I'm glad that I'm still respectable!

Obviously, aim for your best, but boy... glad to read this.
