my chances at sunys binghamton, stony brook, buffalo and albany with a 79-80 cumlative avg?(all classes are honors since 9th grade)anyone know what that gpa is translated to?
the 1070 is just verbal and math. i wont mention the writing since its just being used as experimental purposes this year.
anyone know what my chances are?(keep in mind these are all just average universities with the exception of bing)thanks.

Albany+Buffalo- probably (~60-70%)
Binghamton + Stony Brook- probable not (10-20%)

so many views but only one response lol

i agree with w1cked.

i just hoped that your sat scores were higher. what was your writing? i think some schools will look at the score.

binghamton is pretty competitive so i would say it's a super reach for you.

GPA below a 3.0, probably around a 2.6, and SAT of 1070.

Few of the top colleges will accept scores like that. My brother has the same stats, is going to a community college for a year or two, then transferring. I think that's the best route to go, because your options are much larger.

^great advice! i would say the same.

the community college route is actually VERY popular right now. and you can get into even NYU if you succeed there! good luck!!

SAT Reasoning Verbal: 510 - 620
SAT Reasoning Math: 560 - 660

well if the collegeboard statistics are accurate, then my score is higher than about 25% of the rest of the applicants. and iono if they'll look at my avg like a 82-85 since all my classes are honors, hope they do, so im hoping that luck will be on my side i guess.

bumpalump?!

I mis-read. I thought you said 1070 on the NEW SAT, meaning you had around 300-400 on each section.

oops lol sorry bout that. guess my title can be quite misleading.

bump this bad boy up

With those scores and that GPA I think you should look beyond the University centers.

you serious? i think my scores and gpa are pretty weak, just good enough

If M+ CR= 1070 you have a decent but still qeak chance
If your M + CR + W = 1070 apply to a CC.

a 1070 is above the national average, so you will definitely get into a decent 4-year institution.

alrightttttttt

got bump?!

bump bump bump

ooh yeahh.

hmmmmmmmmm..
