Are the reading comp, sentence completions, and non QC math in the 10 real SATs (red book) written the same way that they would be on the new sat? I.e., is doing the red book questions roughly equivalent to doing the same questions in the blue book, in terms of difficulty, writing style of questions, format, etc.?

Yes. In fact, some of the blue book questions are taken directly from 10 real SATs

has anybody ever found a blue book question that was in 10RS? cuz i've looked, and i sure haven't found any.

The practice questions at the beginning are the same in both books, but I haven't found any matching questions in the actual exams.

Are you sure? I thought some of passages were the same and I swore I recognized some math problems...

yea the passages in 10RSATs are madd familiar i'm on the second one

the 10RS book is searchable on Amazon.com. i've put random keywords from problems in the blue book into the search tool and i've never found a match. i haven't tried every single blue book question, but i've definitely tried a lot of them and i've never found a match.

some of the reading passages on the SAT are from books you might have read for school--could you be recognizing them from that?

i am pretty sure that PR uses some of the passages in 10RS.
