I'm thinking about taking summer courses at UCLA over summer. I would be taking 12 units total during one session (6 weeks) - Math 32A, Math33A, and ECON 41. I don't go to UCLA (I'm currently a freshman at Princeton) and I was wondering if someone who was familiar with UCLA or these classes would let me know if this is too ambitious, or if it is feasible.

Thanks guys.

PS. I should mention that I would be taking those on a Pass/Fail basis.

It’s feasible. Summer classes tend to be more relaxed, so that makes up for the condensed load. It’s probably about the same as 12 units during a regular quarter.

How easy it is will really depend on how good you are at math. The material in those classes isn’t that difficult, but if you need a long time to do the homework, it could add up.

I wouldn’t call myself a math-wiz, but I am certainly proficient at math. Is it safe to assume that during the summer there aren’t many distractions on campus?
