14 Credits Too Little?

Hey, I am debating dropping my FWS and doing it next semester which would leave me with 14 credits including gym. Is this too little especially considering how I want to try to transfer into AEM from CAS? Thanks.

12 and under is low, 14 is alright. Of course, it depends on how many classes you have.
If it is a standard 3-4 credit classes, unlike 6 credits for a few, then 4 classes isn’t too little.
Besides, what’s wrong with your FWS, and exactly how many semesters do you need?

fws are something we ALL have to get through (though you may be lucky and only have to take one!) i would suggest you keep your fws to get it over with, but thats all depending on what other courses you are taking.

I’m taking 5 classes currently (only one 4-credit), but the FWS is just an essay due every single class period and the grading is absurd. I would have to take only one next semester, but it’s just hurting a lot.

I’m also taking 14 credits for GPA. However, combined with like the NS 1160 and pe, it goes up to 17.

PE doesn’t count as a credit towards your degree, and 13 is a bit low if you don’t have AP/transfer credit, as you need to average 15/semester to graduate on time. Try to deal with your FWS for now, because everyone has to do it eventually and they usually yield pretty high grades anyway (the median for most of them is usually an A- or B+.)
