Hey.do u think i should even apply with a 1410 in the sat I 800 in sat math 2 ,800 in physics qualified 2 times for the aime international applyong for aid.

XD How do you get an 800 on those and qualify for the AIME with getting a 1410 on the SAT?!... I think you can probably retake the SAT in December and score a LOT better, judging by your other scores. Maybe go take a quick prep class, do well, and then apply. Seriously, 800 and qualify for AIME... That's impressive.

well idk but i think 1410 is out of 1600...and it's not tht bad

well, if english isn't your first language, it makes sense... i think what'll matter is the breakdown of your scores. was math much higher than writing and critical reading?

MIT will consider your familiarity with English if it wasn't your first language, my friend has 1700 on SAT reasoning and he qualified for national physics Olympiad and his math score is way better than his CR score. You might consider taking the TOEFL to strengthen your application.

Nevertheless, don't panic.

i have a 1420 and i'm not freaking out about THAT aspect of my application (maybe i should...)
680 cr 740m (790w)
with 770 m2 710chem

i think mit is telling the truth when they say scores aren't everything

yeah don't stress I have a 1450 and that's not great but it's not a big deal, and for you they could consider it a bad test day as you did great on your other stuff

Same here, 1440 for Math + CR, but 800 for Math Level 2 and 780 for Chem. I'm not that worried about my scores; the SAT Reasoning Exam is highly flawed in my opinion.....

does mit look at the writing score at all?

not really. unofficially, they don't look at it.

which is sad. :(
